Camera works okay during the day but at night it just has a round white image in the view screen. I thought I might be getting a glare off of the crome on the back of the truck. I removed the camera and held it, pointing it in different directions, still had the glare. If I hold my hand up close to it, it will focus and display the hand but goes back to the wite spot when hand is taken away. I have a Pyleview backup camera system installed in the truck and it works well. I bought the second camera for a different view. The Pylview has 2 AV input jacks so I can toggle between the cameras. Personally if you want the camera for night vision I wouldn't recommend this one.
