This was suggested by my occupational therapist after my knee replacement. After checking the price at a supply store I found the exact same item on Amazon at a considerable savings and it arrived at my door in 2 days. I recently had a 1980's tub enclosure replaced with a walk-in 5' shower tiled from floor to ceiling. I have handicap bars outside the shower and a built-in seat but realized I needed something to add a little more security due to the size of the shower without risking damage to the expensive tile. The device was put into place in minutes by my son and can be removed at any time. The suction clamps hold it tightly with no sign of budging. It's long enough to accommodate most heights and does not detract from the look of the shower. It can easily be moved or removed by releasing the suction clamps at each end.
