| Customer Reviews: Average Rating: Rating : - Previous Logitechs are better I received these about 6 days ago, and from the first moment I put them on, I knew the older Logitech USB 350 Premium were better. Although I've had no option that adapting to the sound of these (as my old ones stopped working after 2 years of severe usage, and that's because I started traveling with them), the bass quality is noticeably lower. On top of that, the overall volume that these can achieve is incredibly lower than the old 350s. Previously, I wouldn't have ever thought of listening to music with the volume set at 100% (unless I wanted to self-inflict some damage), but with these I listen to Metallica's Death Magnetic at the loudest volume possible, and still be left hungry for more, which is ridiculous, specially when listening to a pretty heavy album like that.
Physically, I'm actually scared I might break these virtually every time I use them. I usually like when companies make lighter products, but the plastic material of these feels way too fragile. I can't say for sure they'll break as I've only had them for a few days, but because of the numerous reviews on how the USB component is weakly manufactured, I plugged these in an USB extension cable the first time I opened the box and I haven't nor I intend to unplug them from it, out of fear they might break in too. I'm actually set on buying the old 350s again the second these break. They just feel "breakish". I hope I'm wrong on this.
I have a big head. By expanding these feels I feel like I'm going to break them every time. 350s are pretty robust and never too heavy on the user. It's pretty serious.
Overall, I should've done like my friend who ordered a second pair of his 350s instead of upgrading like I did. The others are cheaper and way better. It's still a good product and everyone falls in love with them, but for someone who's used the previous USB headset iteration by Logitech will not be impressed. + See Full Customer Review | |
