Rating : - they work ok for short periods
i don't mind using these for short periods, but for more than say an hour they become uncomfortable. the problem is that they slip down under your knees unless you have them tight enough that you lose circulation in your legs... this has been my experience with all brands of kneepads i've used though, so i'm neither surprised nor too bothered about it.
the hard plastic surface can be a bit slippy if you're doing tile work, for example, but it's a boon if you're outside working in a gravel bed, for example.
