Rating : - Best Book Light I've Ever Used For Christmas everyone in our family received one of these terrific book lights as a stocking stuffer, and they all get used a lot. The unit is compact and very lightweight. Almost all of the weight comes from the 3 AAA batteries, which seem to last for about a month if you're reading for an hour or two before going to sleep each night - maybe 30 hours reading time if you're using both LED bulbs all the time. The infinitely flexible neck allows you to position the light EXACTLY where YOU want it, although the even, wide light pattern means you won't have to be too picky about it. The clip will work on paperback books, hardback books, or you can even clip the light to the headboard of your bed! The LED bulbs give off a cooler light than normal incandescent bulbs, so the light seems a little more "blue" than "yellow", which surprised me a bit at first, but I quickly got used to it. We love our Mighty Brights and we already need to buy a replacement since we accidentally left one behind when we came home from a trip!
