This helps ensure that each and every reading is accurate.

Rating : - Handy way to check blood pressure
This is our second of these. We bought the first one at a local CVS where the price was $27+ higher.

It's accurate -- to verify that, we have taken it with us to doctors' offices and have taken our blood pressure there immediately after the doctor (or his/her nurse) took it. Results were comparable.

Results are clearly displayed and easy to understand. The memory feature is handy -- one can go back and review the results of prior B/P checks.

It comes set to work on the left wrist. If you want to use it on the right wrist, there's an easy adjustment for that.

It's particularly handy for regularly monitoring the B/P of a 90-plus year old relative who is bedridden, with multiple ailments, and who cannot easily be transported to a doctor's office.

The only negative is what it calls "A.P.S.", (Advanced Positioning Sensor) that ensures ones hand is in exactly the right position -- relative to the heart -- before beginning the test. We have found that it is more of an annoyance than a help. We have disabled this feature, and it works fine without it.

We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, inexpensive way to monitor B/P.
