I've had a chance to use the brand-name Canon remote and this does everything just as well at half the price. I'm very satisfied with the product. Crisp actuation pressure for the switch and the cord is long enough. It has worked perfectly on probably 750+ images. After the rainy season, I'll update this review with more field experience.
