My mother and I sent almost 3 weeks online looking at cribs trying to find one we like and could afford. We saw the Ellis on our first day looking but kept looking. We went to Babies R Us to look at the crib in person to see just how high the front was. I am a little over 5 feet so I needed to make sure I could reach my baby. I was able to reach all the way to the back of the crib 7 month pregnant so I am not worried about being able to reach my baby once she comes.

We had to order the crib online to get the white finish and it came the other day. It is a beautiful white and matches the other white furniture that we have in the room. The box was a little damage but nothing was broken or missing from the box. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes to put the mattress support frame together but that was the hardest part. However, we found out that we had a defective leg when we were putting the crib together. I called customer service and they were more then helpful and we have the new leg being shipped to us. We should get the part in a week. Even with all the ups and down I am still very happy with the crib.
