Harry Nilsson wrote the entirely hummable songs (including the hit, "Me and My Arrow") for this charming, 1971 animation feature about a boy with a round head who is banished from the land of pointy-headed people. This is a DVD of the original 1971 airing of The Point, music by American songwriter and musician Harry Nilsson.

The story line has many themes, bully's in school, absolute power corrupts absolutly, and discrimination. All issues are presented by an animated cartoon medium.

Nilssons famous song from the movie, "Me and My Arrow" was used by Chrysler corporation to launch and keep customers loyal to the Plymouth Arrow.

Music is first rate, the voices of the characters are wonderful.

The movie provokes much introspection about how to live life.

It answers the question "What is 'The Point' of it all?"
