I was a little reluctant with this purchase after reading one of the reviews saying it did not fit. The trick to installing these easily is to put the end supports on the load bars first and adjust the width. If you do that first and follow the instructions you'll have a very solid roof rack. I can actually get 3 - 12' recreational kayaks on the roof of my Honda Civic. They're so solid once installed that you can actually grab the racks and rock the entire car back and forth. That'll hold your boats.
