This Wusthof Knife Life Sharpener is a two stage knife sharpener with a built-in scissors sharpener. The carbide side sets your knife's edge, while the ceramic side finishes the edge. I'm always looking for quality tools at great prices and this is one of those. It's easy to use, stable and sharpens well. The dual function (for knives and scissors) is great.

My only user suggestion is that when you sharpen your knives, have a cutting board or a wood board under the sharpener when you use it to protect your countertops. When you pull back through the sharpener with the knife, the tendency is to hit the counter or table with the tip of your knife because you are pulling and applying downward pressure at the same time.
